Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup (2 sticks) Unsalted Butter (plus extra to butter a 9 by 13 inch baking dish)
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup (packed) Brown Sugar (Light or dark brown sugar work well)
  • 1 Tsp Honey
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 Tbs Milk
  • 1 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Caramel Flavored Cocoa Powder (if you don't have caramel flavored cocoa powder, just use the regular type)
  • 1/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  

  2. Butter a 9 by 13 inch baking dish.  

  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan.  Set aside.

  4. In a large bowl (using a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer or a handheld mixer), combine the sugar, brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract.  

  5. Add the eggs, one by one. 

  6. Stir in the milk.

  7. Add the (melted and cooled) butter. 

  8. Gently incorporate the flour, cocoa powder, caramel flavored cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, and flour.

  9. Pour into prepared baking dish.  Bake in preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean (without batter).
