BBQ Ribs in the Oven

Keyword BBQ, BBQRIBS

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 to 4 lb) Rack Pork Loin Ribs
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon California Chili Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Cups Homemade BBQ Sauce (you can substitute for your favorite thick brand of BBQ sauce)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet pan with several layers of nonstick foil.  Also, preheat your oven to 330 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Put the ribs in a large pot of water.  Add the salt.  Bring the water to a low boil.  Simmer the ribs for about 15 minutes, or until they start to become tender.  Skim the froth off the top as it boils.  Make sure to keep an eye on your pot, as the water may boil over.

  3. Remove the ribs from the water, making sure to drain any excess water off of the ribs.  Pat the ribs dry with a paper tower.

  4. Put your ribs onto the prepared baking sheet.  Rub your dry rub mix onto each side.  Slather about a cup of our Homemade BBQ Sauce on the top side of the ribs.  Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes.

  5. Flip the rack of ribs over and slather another cup of BBQ Sauce on your ribs.  Cover the ribs back with the foil and bake for an additional 50 minutes.

  6. At this point, flip the ribs over again.  Slather some more BBQ Sauce over the ribs.  This time, leave the ribs uncovered.  Bake them for another 60 minutes, or until tender.
