Chocolate Chip Pancakes


  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tbsp Butter (Melted)
  • Additional butter to grease the pan.
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips


  1. Sift all of the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.  

  2. Add the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.  Mix until a smooth batters forms.

  3. Heat a little of the butter on medium heat.  Lower the heat to low-medium. 

  4. Add a ladle full of the pancake batter to the pan. 

  5. Add a small hand full of the chocolate chips to the pancake.  Add a very small amount of the batter to cover the chocolate chips. 

  6. Cook until small bubbles form on the top.  At this point the bottom of the pancake should be set.  

  7. Using a wide metal spatula, flip the pancake over.  Cook until the bottom is done.

Serve with whipped cream and toppings of your choice.
