Mozzarella Sticks


  • 1 (12 pack) Low Moisture Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese String Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 Teaspoons Heavy Cream
  • 2 Cups Dried Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Dill
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper


  1. In a dish combine the flour and salt.  

  2. In a second dish whisk the eggs and cream.  

  3. In a third dish, combine the dried bread crumbs, dill, parsley, and pepper.

  4. Roll each mozzarella stick in the flour.  

  5. Next, coat the mozzarella stick in the egg mixture.  

  6. Lastly, coat the mozzarella stick with the bread crumbs.  

  7. At this point, if you want a thicker coating, dip the mozzarella stick in the egg mixture a second time, and coat with bread crumbs a second time.  

  8. Freeze the mozzarella sticks at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight. 

  9. Preheat the oven to 410 degrees Fahrenheit.

  10. Bake the mozzarella sticks for about 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
