Instructions

Directions for Soft Ground Beef Tacos

  1. Warn the flour tortilla in a warm pan or in the microwave for a few seconds.  We are not cooking them.  We are just getting them warm enough to be flexible.
  2. Add the oil in a large pan.  Add the ground beef along with the 10 spices. Cook on medium heat for about 6 to 7 minutes, or until the beef is no longer pink.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste until well incorporated.

  4. Add the flour.  Cook for about 2 more minutes.
  5. Pour in the beef or chicken broth.  Cook for about 5 more minutes, or until the liquid is evaporated.  Set aside.
  6. Stuff each of the tortillas with a generous serving of the ground beef, cheese, and topping of your choice.
