Irish Cream Coffee
(Disclaimer: If you live in the United States, you must be 21 years of age or order to buy or drink alcohol)
Irish Coffee is one of my favorite after dinner drinks. How can you resist a coffee drink with all that flavor and topped with a mount of whipped cream?! Yum!
According to the International Bartender’s Association, Irish Coffee combines Irish Whiskey, hot coffee, brown sugar, and fresh cream.
This is my version of the Irish Cream Coffee. My version incorporates the traditional ingredients and adds some decadent Irish Cream liquor in the mix. Also, I prefer my cream to be whipped, and since St. Patrick’s Day is just around the cornier, I like to top by drink with some green colored sugar (good any time of the year, but especially on St Patrick’s). 🍀☘️😋

How to make Irish Cream Coffee:
Pour some hot coffee in a coffee mug. I used a plain Starbucks coffee this time. Hmmmm…I am thinking that next time, I might try this with a Hazelnut or Vanilla flavored coffee.
Stir in some brown sugar. Brown sugar contains molasses, such gives it that beautiful golden color.
Add in the Irish Whiskey.
Followed by the Irish Cream Liquor. Irish Cream is a type of Irish Whiskey that has been infused with cream.
Give it a stir.
Top with a generous mount of whipped cream.
If you like, add some green sugar sprinkles.

Cheers! Enjoy responsibly!
