Hot Chocolate Brownies
Ah, the richness of these hot chocolate brownies. It puts a smile on the face of any chocolate lover. It’s no wonder that it’s one of America’s favorite desserts. You can find some variation of the brownie anywhere from coffee shops to fast food restaurants to fancy restaurants.
A dessert as American as the Apple Pie, the Chocolate Brownie is actually invented in the good old USA.
These Chocolate Brownies are a practical dessert that you can easily pack in your lunch, or your kids lunches.
However, it is possible to transform this simple dessert into something super special.
Chocolate Brownies as a Spectacular Dessert
Is it possible to top the rich, decadent goodness that is the Chocolate Brownie? Oh, yes it is. With Ice Cream, Caramel Sauce, and Chocolate Sauce.
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, looking that this, I am quite speechless. I am too busy drooling and thinking of different ways to attack this dessert with a fork!
How to make Moist, Rich, and Chewy Hot Chocolate Brownies:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Butter a 9 by 13 inch baking dish.
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract.
Using a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer (no affiliate relation) or a handheld mixer, add the eggs, one by one. Stir in the milk.
Add the (melted and cooled) butter.
Gently incorporate the flour, cocoa powder, caramel flavored cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, and flour. Don’t you just want to lick the dough? I do!
Pour into prepared baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean (without batter).
Let the brownie rest for a few minutes before cutting into it. Yes, I know it’s hard.
Cut in small snack sized pieces or large pieces, depending on what you plan to do with them.
I cut the pieces extra large so I can transform mine into brownie sundaes. Enjoy!
