Amaretto Cream Coffee

You will be proud to serve this drink to your guests on a cold evening. This drink is so good!
This is also the kind of drink that you will want to enjoy as you cuddle up on the sofa with a good book or interesting tv show.
This drink is as easy to make as it is delicious.
Here are the Steps to a delightful Amaretto Cream Coffee:
Pour in the Amaretto Liquor into the glass. Amaretto has such a lovely aroma and a delicate bitter-sweet almond flavor. The smell is intoxicatingly beautiful. In Italy, Amaretto is often added to deserts.
Pour in the Irish Cream Liquor into the glass. The Irish Cream Liquor is sweet enough so you don’t need to add any sugar. Irish Cream is basically a whiskey made with cream, so you will won’t need to mix any cream into your coffee either.
Next, add the coffee. The coffee should be sufficiently hot in order for the flavors to blend properly.
Lastly, top with whipped cream. The whipped cream can be homemade by you, or can be store bought. The store bought works well in a pinch, but for whipped cream that stands up better to the hot coffee, go with the homemade whipped cream. I have included my recipe for Whipped Cream Frosting and for my Spiced Whipped Cream Frosting below.

Amaretto Cream Coffee
Ingredients
- 1 Part Amaretto Liquor
- 1 Part Irish Cream Liquor
- 3 Parts Coffee
- 2 Tablespoons Whipped Cream
Instructions

Pour the Amaretto Liquor into a clear glass coffee mug.

Add the Irish Cream Liquor.

Next, add the coffee.

Top with several tablespoons for whipped cream.
Whipped Cream Frosting
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Heavy Cream
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 7 Tablespoons Sugar
Instructions

Chill a large bowl in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

Pour the heavy cream into the chilled bowl.

Using a whisk, beat until the mixture begins to firm up. Add the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the sugar. Continue to beat until you get semi-still peaks. It will take a while and you might build some muscle in the process. This is a labor of love. If you want to go the easy way, you can use an electric mixer.
Spiced Whipped Cream Frosting
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Heavy Cream
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Tsp Strong drink of your choice, such as Rum, Grand Marnier, Whiskey, or Amaretto (optional)
- 7 Tbsp Sugar
